You will have access to a nearby children’s playground, 5 tier pond and a campfire area which is available in this remarkable gated community. Direct TV Satellite, wireless Internet, full size washers and dryers (located both on level 1 and 2), 2 car garage (w/opener), outdoor commercial gas grill, fully stocked kitchen and central heat and A/C completes this log home.
1st Floor: (Main) Vaulted living Room with wood burning fireplace, 50” flat screen HD TV w/DVR, and CD player. Spacious fully stocked newly remodeled kitchen w/all new stainless-steel appliances and granite countertop. There is a separate dining area w/seating for 6. Plus, additional breakfast bar seating for 4. A card table and chairs are also available. Master bedroom includes a King bed, 40” flat screen HD TV and en suite with new full size tile shower, double sinks and additional washer and dryer. Covered deck with rockers and wooden swing plus uncovered deck with professional gas grill and picnic table complete this level of the home.
2nd Floor: (Upstairs) Bedroom with bunk bed, 2 queen beds and 43” flat screen HD TV. Loft area with 32” flat screen HD TV, pool table, and full bath.
3rd Floor: (Lower Level) Master suite with king bed, 46” flat screen HD TV and full en-suite with tile shower. A full-size washer/dryer and private access to the lower covered deck.

The Smoky Mountain Retreat at Eagle’s Nest subdivision does not permit motorcycles, RV's or trailers on the mountain.

This is our 4th time staying at Altitude Adjustment. It feels like we are coming home when we pull into the driveway. This place was amazing.We went here for my daughters wedding.. Everything the picture has is just how the cabin looked. It's a very nice 3 story cabin. Plenty of space of all of us. The bottom level has a king size bed with its own shower.and you can go thru the garage to this room also..Then 2nd level is the main level with king bed and it's own shower.the kitchen and all is on this floor. Then top floor has bedroom with 2 queen beds and set of bunk beds with tub/shower and pool table in the main area.

If you don’t mind driving some curvy roads to the driveway, this property is great! The driveway was extremely steep, too. It was private and sitting on the deck in the early morning or evening was relaxing. We ran out of propane while cooking dinner and had to go to the Dollar General to rescue our meal prep (the owner promptly reimbursed us the cost even though we kept the tank), but management responded promptly the next morning and brought another tank. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

We loved that there was a pool table and darts, and we definitely appreciated that it had wifi and satellite tv. It's in a great location within driving distance of fabulous restaurants in Maggie Valley, Waynesville, and Asheville. We would definitely recommend it to others, and hope to stay there again.

Attention to detail was obvious as soon as we arrived.
Property was well stocked with everything needed to make it a home away from home. Cabin was very clean, appeared to have been recently painted. The stainless appliance were quite new and the granite kitchen counter was beautiful. Having access to a 2 car garage with an opener was a real pleasant surprise and quite convenient. We enjoyed cooking on the outdoor gas grille and spending evening on the swing on the covered porch. The view was great and truly helped us to have an "Altitude Adjustment". We have already reserved again for next spring to come back.

This property had everything you could want and more. The view first of all is spectacular at the 3500' elevation. If you are looking for quiet, this gated retreat is the place, yet very close to all the local amenities. There are 2 very nicely furnished master bedrooms and total sleeping for 10. The rooms were very clean and the kitchen, shall we say overstocked on everything you would want. A professional pool table, 4 HD TV's with great Direct TV service and high speed internet provided all the entertainment we needed. The 2 covered decks were well equipped with rockers, a swing, professional gas grill. The two car garage with remotes was a real plus. This is the perfect place for a family get-together and would recommend this highly. The property management is very professional and accommodating.

My kids, sister, husband, their kids and our parents stayed here for our "Country Cabin Christmas" as we dubbed it. The house was perfect!! Plenty of space, all the kitchen utensils/amenities we needed and extra chairs/tables stored away to bring out for the large dinner. We did set up our own Christmas tree, but the beauty of the cabin required no more decor to make it feel like Christmas.
The beds were extremely comfortable (that is always a fear with these rentals they they have cheap beds...NOT the case here. Slept wonderfully!!!
And of course the staff!!! Cannot say more nice things about the prompt email responses from all our questions and guidance on the area. Also very friendly at check in and every time we popped in for something.

Altitude Adjustment is a beautiful cabin in a secluded spot on the side of a mountain. The home is lovely and was very clean and well-stocked. There is a great "family bungalow" room - one bedroom that would fit an entire family...or it would be perfect for a group of children. We were looking for a vacation rental that was centrally located between Asheville and Smoky Mountain National Park. Altitude Adjustment was the perfect location. We stayed for 7 days with 2 families of 4. The house was beautiful and provided a great view of the mountains. Altitude Adjustment accommodated our 2 families. The kids all stayed in the loft bedroom while each set of grown ups getting a master suite. The house is well maintained and was very clean when we arrived. The roads are nicely paved and the neighborhood gives you a sense of security with its large gates that can only be accessed by key code. We spent a lot of time hiking, sight seeing, and rafting/tubing in various places in the area. Most of the attrations and places we visited were under an hour drive from this house. It was always nice to come back to the house each evening for dinner and to finish the night sitting on the awesome porch. We had one slight problem during our visit, the downstairs washing machine broke. The next morning we spoke to mangement and the machine was fixed in a matter of 2 days. This was amazing because there is another washer/dryer on the main floor as well so they wouldn't have to do that. Everything exceeded our expectations when staying at Altitude Adjustment. I would definitely recommend this house for your vacation in the Smoky Mountains.

We enjoy getting away occasionally to the mountains of North Carolina and can say without hesitation, this house is great. We had a full house and the grandkids especially loved the bunk room. Two bunks and a large window bed. One set of parent stayed in the big bed to keep order.
We, as grandparents found the downstairs private suite to our liking as we could get away from it all and did not notice any noise from above. My wife is a cleaniness nut and the house cleaners do a great job of keeping the cabin spotless. The downstairs shower is phenominal.
The views were awesome and getting to see 40 or 50 Elk on Cove Creek was the icing on the cake.
