This mountain home has internet, Direct TV and air conditioning, plus ceiling fans in every room, for those hot summer days and forced air heat including a wood burning fireplace for the coldest of nights. Enjoy the Weber Grill on the wraparound deck for those delicious steaks or burgers. Multiple rocking chairs and a swing will lull you to sleep as you listen to the birds sing, the brook babble, and the beauty of the mountains and trees that stretch before of your eyes. What more could you want for a perfect vacation stay?
Main level: Your living room has a vaulted ceiling with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace and an additional log storage space so you don’t have to go outside each time you want to replenish the warm fire. Large 55” LED TV allows you to enjoy your favorite programs which you can see from the living room and can also been seen from the kitchen/dining room areas. Double doors exit to the covered deck from the living room. Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen with undercounter lighting, and an island for your meal preparation. A separate dining room table can accommodate 6-7 people, plus 2 bar stools for extra seating at the kitchen island. The first bedroom, with a queen sized bed, looks out through double doors, that gives you access to the main covered deck, and also gives you views of the trees and mountains. A 47” LED TV is mounted on the wall for your enjoyment. A second bedroom, on this level, includes a king sized bed. Between these two bedrooms you will find a fully remodeled main bath, with walk-in shower.
Upper level: Large master suite with King-sized bed, relaxing recliner chair, desk and 50” LED TV are here for your relaxation. Master bath includes double sink, walk in shower, garden tub plus walk in closet. The balcony loft has a reading/relaxing area, with library that overlooks the main living room and views through the large, expansive windows.
Lower level: Newly remodeled game room with foosball and air hockey. Also, a table for card playing, game playing or assembling one of the available puzzles. The door by the game room leads to a large garage with door opener and ample exterior blacktop parking. This level also has a bedroom with 2 twin beds. A full bathroom is included on this level. Washer and dryer plus iron/ironing board and clothes folding table are available in the laundry room.

PETS: Only 2 dogs allowed, up 40lbs with a $100 pet-fee each.

11% tax will be applied to rent.
Optional 6.5% Trip Insurance will be applied to rent.

Firewood Notice: Not all wood-burning fireplaces will provide firewood at the property. We can have firewood delivered to the property per request, we offer 1/4 cord for $100 or 1/2 cord for $180. Please order ahead before your arrival.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was spacious and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The view was outstanding! The management company was great, very commutative. We would definitely recommend this home for a getaway!

As a family, we have enjoyed vacationing in the Smokey Mountain Retreat cabins/homes for many years. The cabins are comfortable and have the amenities that you need. We had an issue with the volume of the TV in the main room not working was checked but not fixed while we were there(however there are other TVs in the cabin that worked)

We had a wonderful time with our two small kids at the cabin. Everything was clean and well appointed, just as described. The kids enjoyed the foosball, air hockey, and extra room to play. It had beautiful views and was in a good location. We drove to two hiking areas within 30-45 minutes. It was also easy to get to nearby Waynesville. We navigated the steep and windy hills and driveway up to the cabin okay and it was nice to be able to park in a garage. I would recommend it!

Fantastic time, great spot. Lots of room but still has cozy feel. Driveway is steep and extra parking is uphill, but there is some parking near house in flatter area.
