Maggie Overlook in Gated Smoky Mountain Retreat Community
Experience a mountain vacation retreat without having to sacrifice comfort and elegance. Have all the conveniences of your own home in this fully equipped cabin. As you enter this 1,000 acre beautifully gated community, you will be greeted by cascading streams, a picnic area and large playground, all accessible to our guests.
This area has a wealth of activities for adults and children alike including hiking, fishing, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, golf, skiing, tubing, antiquing and more.
PLEASE READ BEFORE RESERVING: NO MOTORCYCLES OR SLINGSHOTS ARE ALLOWED IN THIS COMMUNITY.
Main level is well furnished with a cozy living room, stone fireplace, widescreen TV, leather couch, dining area seats 6, kitchen with granite counter tops. Master bedroom with a king size bed TV, a full master bath.
Upper level: Loft with pool table and TV, bedroom with king size bed, sleeper couch that can be a double bed, large screen TV and full bath.
Lower level: Bedroom with bunk bed, large screen TV with a generous sitting area for 6, a sleeper couch that can be a queen size bed, plus a full bath.
Rates:
3 Night minimum
Jan-May, Sept. Nov- Dec $255 nightly - $1,585 weekly
June-August. October. $290 nightly - $1,830 weekly
Holidays: 7 night minimum $1,900
Additional nights $310
July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year
11% Tax applied to rent. Optional 6.5% Travel Insurance applied to rent.
$50 Damage Protection Plan ($3,000 of Insurance). (Non-refundable)
$65 Reservation Fee (plus Tax)
$250 Cleaning Fee
Pets: Only 1 dog under 30 lbs. will be allowed with a pet fee of $100.
Firewood Notice: Not all wood-burning fireplaces will provide firewood at the property. We can have firewood delivered to the property per request, we offer 1/4 cord for $100 or 1/2 cord for $180. Please order ahead before your arrival.
The Smoky Mountain Retreat at Eagle’s Nest subdivision does not permit motorcycles or trailers on the mountain.

The house is very nice and in a good location for views of the valley and mountains.

Very good process. We picked up and dropped off with no issues. No issues at the cabin but we did wish it had a DVD/Blu-Ray player on at least one TV. Otherwise, best internet of any cabin we've stayed in (we've stayed in 5 different cabins). It could use some new pots and pans and it's probably just me, but I would like window coverings on all the windows in bedrooms. Otherwise, you're up with the sun. Overall, we are happy with our stay and will return.

This cabin was perfect for our party of 3 adults as we all had a bedroom and bathroom to ourselves. Sturdy furniture with a wonderful porch. Obviously, the owners are not coffee drinkers, as there were only small cups and no Keurig maker. Also the bathroom shower upstairs has a drain issue.
