Song Bird Lodge is a Honka luxury Finnish log home with amazing floor to ceiling windows - these allow you to see the stunning mountain views and Maggie Valley. Come enjoy all four magnificent seasons, in your home away from home, perfect for large families or multi family vacations. You can feel free to leave all of your worries behind and enjoy the peace and relaxation of the mountains and pure air! Our guests will enjoy 3 outdoor spaces – including one covered porch and two decks that are perfect for your morning coffee, evening glass of wine or bird and wildlife watching. Don’t miss the new visitors center in the recreation room complete with brochures, maps, local activities and restaurant suggestions! Enjoy a smooth approach into Song Bird Lodge with 2 driveways – one circular drive in the front and a separate driveway to the garage, both level and paved.
Main Level: Great Room w/ floor to ceiling stone fireplace. 54” Smart TV with Dish Network and strong SkyRunner internet. Dining Room and eating area with seating for 10. A chef’s dream kitchen well-appointed with every imaginable appliance, utensil, cookware, etc. A large Master King suite with day bed and trundle (all Kings include luxurious 680 thread count cotton sheets), 42” TV, walk in closet, en-suite master bath with soaking tub, double vanities and stand-up shower. A second King guest bedroom. Additional bathroom with standup shower. Laundry room with washer, dryer and utility sink. 2 Large porches – one covered with relaxing seating and one with dining table, additional seating and gas grill.
Lower Level: Large living/recreation room complete with games galore – pool table, air hockey, poker/game table, 48” TV, board games, puzzles and cards. A Master King suite with day bed and trundle and an en-suite bathroom including double vanities, soaking tub, stand-up shower and walk-in closet. A third outdoor deck with seating. Driveway and garage access.
**Garage is currently not available to guests & owner does leave a car there**
As you enter this beautiful 1,000-acre gated community, you will be greeted by cascading streams, a picnic area and large playground, all accessible to our guests.
The Smoky Mountain Retreat at Eagle’s Nest subdivision does not permit motorcycles or trailers on the mountain.
4 Night Minimum Stay
Jan-Dec (Except Holidays)
Nightly Rate: $400/night Weekly/$2,660 (5% discount)
Holidays: 1 week minimum.
Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years: Weekly $3,500
11% tax will be applied to rent.
Deposit Required for Reservations.
$50 Damage Protection Plan.
$65 Reservation Fee (plus tax).
$225 Cleaning fee.
Optional 6.5% Trip Insurance will be applied to rent.
House Rules:
-NO PETS ARE ALLOWED!
If pets are seen on the property, there will be an additional sanitizing cleaning fee of $500.
-No smoking inside the house.
Please, no strong scents. Fragrance free detergents are supplied.

Indoor/Outdoor Firewood Notice: We can have firewood delivered to the property per request, we offer 1/4 cord for $100 or 1/2 cord for $180. Order ahead of time before your arrival.

It was a delight to spend our two-week summer vacation in this lovely & spacious house. We especially loved all the comfy outdoor spaces, giving everyone room to spread out, enjoy the amazing views, take in the sun, relax in the shade, and relish our time together. We also had fun the downstairs game rooom, where our grandson beat everyone at air hockey! The house was very clean & well-stocked with everything we needed. The access was easy & it was just minutes to Waynesville, restaurants, the BRP, hiking, and all our favorite things to do. This was our second stay at Bird Song Lodge & we look forward to returning soon!

Three sisters and their hubbies spent a long weekend at Positive View! This is positively the nicest place we have ever stayed (and we do this trip one or two times per year)! The view was stunning, the cabin so very comfortable and inviting! We will definitely be back!

We met four of our family members in Maggie Valley for Fathers Day weekend. The house is warm and inviting with very comfortable beds. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. We spent all day Sunday playing downstairs in the game room. Part of our family went whitewater rafting and the others toured the Biltmore. However we spent most of weekend on deck enjoying that stunning mountain view. Sunsets were breathtaking also looked at the night sky with the telescope and stayed up late talking. Made memories last a lifetime.

the cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas! We were there for our daughters wedding at Chestnut Ridge in Canton NC. It snowed the day before but smoky mountain retreat made every effort to ensure that we could get up and down the mountain to our destination. Wonderful experience with both rental company and house.

The view from the home was amazing! The interior was beautifully decorated. There was easy access into the house for the elderly and handicapped. We all (from ages 6 to 91) appreciated all the amenities and had fun playing all the games. Hope to return to this property next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It was super clean and had tons of games to play for our family when we were just hanging around the cabin during a lazy day. Air Hockey, Foosball, Billiards, Darts a card table and a really fun competitive basketball game. Normal, minor maintenance issues were handled timely when they came up.

It was a very lovely home. Big bedrooms and spacious decks for sitting out and enjoying the view. Lots of entertainment options for nights at home. Wonderful to be able to turn off the a/c and enjoy the fresh air all week.
Rental Office staff very responsive to a couple of minor issues that were quickly resolved.

This is a spectacular home! With a view that is absolutely stunning. The home is decorated beautifully with a cozy canin feel. All king beds a plus with comfortable mattresses. We wished they had televisions in the bedrooms. I feel the property may rent better with them. The game/tv room downstairs was full of fun activity items...pool table, darts, air hockey, basketball game set. The cabin was spotless, everthing in working order. The house will not ever disappoint! Do yourself a favor and stay here. 30 minutes to Cherokee and 30 minutes to Asheville and 10 minutes from cute historic Waynesville.
